Private Tour zum Ägyptischen Museum, Alt-Kairo & Basar

Old building not well taken care of. Dirty, nasty bathroom. Some disolays hard to see due to poor lighting. I would akip this one and go to the new museum instead. Tour guide was fine, rhough all tour guides kept pushing us to visit local shops

A must tour if you are in Cairo. Our guide was Abdu, we were in Egypt for a week with 4 different tour guides and Abdu was the best. He was were informative, funny, well respected, and he made sure we were safe at all times. The tour started with our guide Abdu picking us up from the hotel which was in Giza and took us to the Egyptian museum. The driver had a newer vehicle and was very nice and hoped out and opened the door for you at every stop. Abdu was very informative on the way to and at the museum. We were given time to explore on our own at the museum also. We then got back in with the

Amazing! Gamil has super great energy. Speaks German English and Arabic. The man was very informational and generally fun to be around. Knows how to navigate all around town. 17 years he said he’s been doing this. It shows. My wife and I both felt very safe which is a lot in this city because you just never know who you’re dealing with normally. Driver was also great. Thank you both! We are definitely coming back and when we do we will ask for this same service. Way to set the bar!

We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was on time, very knowledgeable, and never rushed us the entire tour. We even had time for a boat ride down the Nile River early in the morning with a great breeze (private boat)….a great experience to fill time waiting for the museum to open instead of just sitting in the bus.
