Ab Kairo: Alexandria wie ein Einheimischer – die echte, authentische Tour

Tour guide very competent with fluent English. After giving explanations about the visited objects he gave just as much free time as was needed.

I liked our tour guide, nice and competent. But during the tour I realized the two things I came for were not there ie the Lighthouse had been destroyed and the Library we saw had been opened in 2004... The main thing I did not like, he took us to an exterimely touristy restaurant on the seaside, with no alternatives around (at 330pm)

Em primeiro lugar pedi guia em português ou espanhol. Recebi uma msg de ultima hora que só havia guia em inglês. Portanto perdi toda a história sobre o local. E pedi guia justamente por querer conhecer a história da localidade. No geral - a deslocação, passeios, refeição, simpatia do Peter foi tudo muito bom. Mas não atingiu a minha expectativa porque perdi toda a história.

It was fine. The driver on the way there and on the way back did not look at the road basically the entire time when I was on his phone, the whole time where we had to ask him and tap him on the shoulder to look at the road .We had a really hard time understanding the guide, and we thought it included more than it actually did and so it was a lot of seeing outside of things rather than the inside of things.

Nice guide, fascinating place to visit. Trip over priced - others on the same trip had paid a lot less. Lunch at 15 USD extra did not reflect the price if I’d paid directly to the restaurant (I find these points particularly annoying, untransparent, and would rather the guide get paid more money)
