朝日に浮かび上がるナイル川の景色が素晴らしかったです。乗ったバスケットが王家の谷と反対で、遺跡はあまり見えませんでした。しかし、遺跡以外の景色も十分に素晴らしかったので、大満足です。
Still can't believe I was floating over Luxor with my best mate at dawn. The colors in the sky were UNREAL, like some wild painting. Our pilot Samir was super chill and cracked jokes the whole ride. Only negative—pick-up was like 20 mins late, but hey, Egypt time is a thing, right? Pro tip: bring a hoodie, it gets COLD up there. Would 100% do again even if I had to wake up at 4am.
So, yeah, got up at like 3:30am for this (not a morning person lol) but honestly, totally worth dragging myself outta bed. The sunrise over the river was EPIC! It got a bit crowded at the launch site, and I felt a bit rushed when we landed, but the crew was friendly and made sure we were safe. Bring snacks—no food till after.
