The guide for our group of 4 was Barry. Very informative, enthuastic, passionate and proud of Egyptian history. We had a great trip. Barry got us through everything we wanted to see between 6am pickup and our return to cruise boat by 11am in time for departure of our cruise ship. I recommend a 6am start to beat the crowds and heat. I received info about pickup vehicle and meeting point just off the boat in good time. All went smoothly. Thank you Barry.

A fascinating journey to just a few of the dozens of tombs scattered throughout the Valley of Death, the impressive funerary monument to Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Unmissable and perhaps justifying a full-day excursion. Our guide Barry was instrumental in framing what we saw, and I was impressed by the fact that he not only had a deep knowledge of the ancient history, religion, and society of Egypt, but also read hieroglyphs and even spoke the ancient language. Ibrahim was a knowledgable attentive guide, his explanation of the illustrations and hieroglyphics at the Hatshepsut Temple made all the difference to our experience.

The experience is amazing! My mother and I had Abdo as our guide, he was very kind and patient. He gave us ample time to explore and take pictures as well as give us insightful information about what we were seeing. We suggest viewing the additional tombs for the additional fee, they were breath taking! Hatshepsut temple was my personal favorite due to its size and preservation.

Amazing architecture and history of the valley of kings, a must for the trip. Be assured to check tickets as there are too many tombs in the valley and only main ones should be checked. The tickets allows 3 tomb visits
