Private Full-Day Tour: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara & Dahshur

The tour is a wonderful introduction to the evolution of the building of the pyramids from the step pyramids of saqarra to the smooth side pyramids we know and love today. Mostafa is a cool and funny tour guide. Aside from a rich knowledge of the pyramid history, he could make everyone feel safe and entertained. It is a whole day affair so be ready. You have the option to actually go inside the pyramids but only the one in saqarra i think is worth it. This tour is worth it.

This journey is much better than we could ever expected before. I was looking forward seeing the evolution building history of real pyramid. Therefore, a good guide is important. He must know the background well and he also needs to really love this history. Luckily we had Ibrahim Allam to be our guide. He knows each pyramid so well. Importantly, he also has his own thinking and opinions, this is very valuable and interesting. We really had a wonderful day together with Ibrahim. Strongly recommend to everyone.

Hassam was an incredible tour guide. He was very knowledable and explained things in a clear and approachable manner, stitching a long, complex history into an excellent narrative. We went in a near-chronological order of the pyramid construction starting in Saqqara, then Dashur, then the pyramids at the Giza plateau. The driver was also great getting us between everywhere, punctual and adept at navigating the busy traffic of Cairo. We had an incredible day exploring the pyramids, made truly special by our fantastic guide Hasam and our wonderful driver Syed. Hasam is extremely knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history, while keeping everything engaging and easy to understand. Both Hasam and Syed were amazingly flexible and went out of their way to tailor the day to our pace and interests. Nice tour to see all the Pyramids around Gizeh, the tour guide Mustafa was good and explained a lot about the different pyramids.

There is so much to see in Cairo that unless you have an abundance of time a tour is a must. This day trip was perfect for us. We love history and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable. They were also happy to help us explore the Serapeum of Saqqara. It made an amazing addition to the day.
