We did this tour on the last day of our stay in Cairo and so glad we did. Our guide Marsil took us to some fantastic old churches, mosques, and castles. It was amazing history and architecture. We loved it. Marsil and our driver Mostafa were very flexible with us and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. This tour changed the way we saw Cairo, it gave it much more depth and relevance than the tours or more ancient history in Giza.

Ehab (our guide) and Assem (driver) were both very lovely and welcoming to my husband and I. Ehab was very informative and knowledgeable about the citadel and Coptic Cairo, and we learned much more than if we went alone. Ehab was really attentive to us and made sure we had plenty of water along the way, and checked if we needed anything regularly. He was very well liked by the community which was lovely to see. There was a small issue with our lunch but that was rectified immediately. Would definitely recommend doing this tour to learn about the important history of Cairo!
