The concert hall on the AUC Tahrir campus, built in the 1920s and still the room the university uses for its public music programme. It seats a few hundred under a domed ceiling with the acoustics of a building designed before amplification. Entry is through the campus gate on Tahrir Square, so bring ID and allow a few minutes. Most events here are free and registered rather than ticketed.
