About Mövenpick MS Prince Abbas
The Movenpick MS Prince Abbas sails Lake Nasser between Aswan and Abu Simbel, carrying 65 cabins and four suites for up to 130 guests. Deluxe staterooms measure around 22 square metres with panoramic windows, while Junior and Royal Suites add more space, a sofa and, in the Royal Suite, a bathtub. Cabins have individually controlled air-conditioning, a minibar and television.
Dining is full board in the main restaurant with buffet and a la carte menus spanning Egyptian, international and vegetarian dishes, alongside bars and lounges. On board are a swimming pool, whirlpool, two-tiered sun deck, sauna, oriental steam bath, gym, library and gift shop, with a 24-hour doctor on staff.
The ship departs Aswan on Mondays and Abu Simbel on Fridays, calling at Kalabsha, Wadi El Seboua, Amada with the Temple of Derr and Tomb of Pennut, and Kasr Ibrim, reaching the temples of Abu Simbel.
