On this day trip you will visit the Phenomena Iconic Temples of Abu Simbel, set on Egypt’s southern border beside the Nubian Sea. You will travel through the desert in a comfortable air-conditioned van, with stops on the road for tea or coffee and toilet breaks. Along the way your guide will tell you the story behind the temple’s name, why it was built on this particular site and the main purpose of the structure. You will also hear about Abu Simbel’s astrological and archaeological mystery. The guide will share some local snacks during the journey, and you may see a mirage as you cross the sands and sometimes spot camels moving across the border from Sudan.
