Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will enjoy an excursion in Cairo that combines the city’s Islamic and Coptic heritage. You’ll begin at the Citadel of Salah El Din and visit the Mohamed Ali Mosque (the Alabaster Mosque). As you move through Islamic Cairo, you will see the historic Amr Ibn El‑Ass Mosque and the Ibn Tulun Mosque, learning about their architecture and place in the city’s history. Next you will continue to Coptic Cairo to explore the Hanging Church (El Moaalaqa church), Abu Sirga Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and you will stroll along the famous Moaz Street. Lunch is included at a local restaurant, with vegetarian food available on request. At the end of your Cairo day trip, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
