You will explore Medinat Habu, the Valley of the Nobles and the Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina), where history feels personal rather than distant. A professional Egyptologist will guide you throughout. As you move through Medinat Habu, you will see one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples and appreciate its architecture and reliefs. In the tombs of the nobles and artisans you will step into vibrant, vividly painted scenes and learn about the people they commemorate. Along the way you will walk through the ancient village of Deir el-Medina and hear about the daily lives and work of the craftsmen who built and decorated the royal tombs.
