Sunset Safari trip by Jeep

Overview

This sunset trip from El Gouna or Hurghada hotels takes you into the desert by 4×4 Jeep, where the landscape sets the scene for an evening of discovery. Along the way you will visit a traditional Bedouin family to get a glimpse of desert life, taste Bedouin tea, try shisha and enjoy a short camel ride. The drive continues into the dry canyon known as wadi belli, a place that was covered by Red Sea water millions of years ago; you can see fossilised corals and shells in the rock as you take in the views. As you move on to the top of Wadi Billy, you will reach a point almost 150 m above sea level with a wide panoramic view into the canyon and a clear spot for sunset photography. A soft drink is included while you soak up the colours of the sky. The evening finishes back at the Alex station camp, where you will dine in an Arabic‑designed hut and enjoy an open buffet dinner.
