Stargazing in Hurghada Desert with Bedouin Dinner

Overview

In Hurghada, an evening in the desert takes you above the clouds to a Bedouin camp by Land Cruiser Jeep safari. Along the way you’ll pass a sunset observation area and arrive as the light fades. On arrival you’ll be offered a cool welcome drink and herbal Bedouin tea, and you can ride a camel and spend time learning about traditional Bedouin life. A Bedouin buffet dinner with barbecue elements will be served in the camp. After dinner, the desert’s quiet makes it easy to focus on the night sky. Away from city lights you’ll watch the stars come alive and the distant Milky Way become visible among them. Your guide will lead a stargazing session and you’ll use a telescope to see some of the planets. Along the way you’ll hear information about outer space and star science that explains what you’re seeing. When the evening ends, you’ll be driven back to your hotel.
