A Tamer Safari Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Saqqara to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser. You'll see the world’s oldest major stone structure, built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Zoser, and learn about its place in Egypt’s early architectural history as you view its stepped form. You will then continue to Dahshur, where you will go inside the Red Pyramid, considered the oldest true pyramid in history, and admire the Bent Pyramid, noted for being one of the most well preserved. The visit finishes in the ancient city of Memphis, founded by King Menes and once the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. In Memphis you will see the statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis, experiencing key monuments from Egypt’s earliest centres of rule and culture.
