You will spend the day visiting some of Ancient Egypt’s most famous sites. The experience begins at the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, where you will take in these ancient monuments and their setting. After that you will visit the Egyptian Museum, which holds the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world, giving you a broad look at pharaonic artefacts and history. Later you will go on to the Citadel of Salah El Din and the Alabaster Mosque, moving from the era of the pharaohs to a key site of Islamic Cairo. The day ends with a visit to Khan El-Khalili Bazar, allowing time to explore the market area. Along the way you will see a range of landmarks that together reflect Egypt’s long and varied past.
