In Luxor you'll take a private, two-day guided tour through what is often called the largest open-air museum in the world. Your Egyptologist tour guide will lead you around the city’s most famous sites and explain the history, beliefs and daily life of the ancient pharaohs as you move between monuments. Along the way you'll explore the Valley of the Kings and visit Carter House and the Nobles Tombs, then see the Colossi of Memnon and walk among the vast pylons and sanctuaries of the Karnak Temples. The programme also includes a visit to the Mummification Museum, where you’ll learn about ancient embalming practices.
