You will be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to the West Bank of Luxor to begin your day. On the West Bank you will visit the Valley of the Kings and then the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known as El Dir El Bahari. Along the way you will see the Colossi of Memnon, the surviving statues that mark the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. After exploring the West Bank, you will cross to the East Bank of Luxor to continue your tour. Here you will visit the vast Karnak Temple complex and finish the day with a visit to the Temple of Luxor. As you move through these sites, you will have the chance to view major monuments from different periods and to appreciate the scale and craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian temple architecture.
