Private Day Trip to Luxor from Hurghada
A trusted partner experience, hand-picked and featured on This is Egypt.

Overview
Travel through the desert from Hurghada to the ancient city of Luxor, often called the world’s greatest open‑air museum, on a private guided tour. Along the way you’ll move between monumental sites and learn about the people and rulers who shaped ancient Egypt. Lunch is included. You’ll visit the vast Karnak Temple complex with its towering columns and obelisks, then see the Colossi of Memnon — the two enormous statues that stand guard on the west bank. At the nearby Temple of Hatshepsut you’ll explore the terraced mortuary temple built for one of Egypt’s few female pharaohs. The tour also includes the Valley of the Kings, where royal tombs carved into the desert cliffs tell the story of Egypt’s New Kingdom rulers. Throughout the day your guide will put these sites into historical context and point out the features that make each place distinctive, while you move comfortably between them.
