Saqqara is an archaeological site that includes Egypt’s oldest pyramid and numerous tombs. On this visit you will explore those ancient burial chambers and learn about how the people who built them lived. The carvings, paintings and objects in the tombs illustrate daily life and personal choices from the past. As you move through the site, you may sense the memories the ancient inhabitants intended to leave behind.
