You will visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, taking in their scale and setting on the Giza Plateau. As you move through the site, you will also see the Great Sphinx nearby. On the first day you will have a chance to explore the Egyptian and National museum, where you can view artefacts and exhibits that relate to the ancient sites you have just seen. On the second day you will spend time in Coptic Cairo, with visits that include St Sergious, Abu-Sergah, St Barbara, the Hanging Church and the cave church. Along the way you will experience the historic churches and the quieter streets of this ancient quarter, giving a contrasting perspective to the monuments of the first day.
