From your arrival in Cairo, you will have a comfortable pick-up from the airport to your hotel. As you move through Egypt’s ancient sites, you’ll explore some of the country’s most famous landmarks and learn about their history. You’ll marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza while an expert guide explains their construction and significance. At Sakkara you’ll see the Step Pyramid of Djoser and get a sense of the early developments in pyramid building. In Cairo you’ll also visit the medieval Saladin Citadel, constructed in 1183 AD, and step inside the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque to view its distinctive architecture.
