You’ll go deep into the Valley of the Kings to explore tombs, then visit the Temple of Hatshepsut on Luxor’s West Bank. Hatshepsut, the queen who posed as king, was a ruler loved by many yet surrounded by controversy; her temple is one of the best preserved of its kind. The trip also takes you to the Colossi of Memnon, the two imposing statues that remain from a mortuary temple largely destroyed except for those statues.
