Описание

This private, overnight trip from Hurghada includes a stay at the Lotus Luxor Hotel and guided exploration of Luxor’s main ancient sites with an Egyptologist. Along the way, you’ll visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor, and see Luxor come alive during a nighttime sound-and-light show that highlights the monuments after dark. You’ll go deep into the Valley of the Kings to explore tombs, then visit the Temple of Hatshepsut on Luxor’s West Bank. Hatshepsut, the queen who posed as king, was a ruler loved by many yet surrounded by controversy; her temple is one of the best preserved of its kind. The trip also takes you to the Colossi of Memnon, the two imposing statues that remain from a mortuary temple largely destroyed except for those statues. Throughout, your Egyptologist guide will share context and stories to help you understand what you are seeing.
