On the West Bank of Luxor you will explore the temples and tombs of the Theban Necropolis. You will take a close look at the Mortuary temple of King Ramesses III at Madinat Habu Temple, including its fortified walls. Along the way you will move through a landscape shaped by ancient ritual and royal architecture. As you continue, you will encounter the Valley of the Nobles and see the family tombs that reflect the status and artistry of Egypt’s elite. You will also visit Deir El Madina (Valley of the Artisans), where the local atmosphere of the ancient Egyptian workers is still evident in the remains.
