You will be picked up from your hotel, home, airport or any address you give and driven to Coptic Cairo. The visit focuses on the area’s ancient buildings and the history of its older religions. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel, home or the address you specified. In Coptic Cairo you will walk through a district locals often call the Religions complex, where synagogues, churches and mosques sit close together. Along the way you will see the oldest Egyptian synagogue of Bn Izra, as well as the oldest Christian church and the oldest mosque. The visit will give you a clear sense of how these faiths have shaped the area over time, with opportunities to view historic sites and learn about their religious and cultural significance as you move through the neighbourhood.
