Half-Day Hurghada Stargazing Tour with Pick-Up

Overview

Set out from Hurghada into the Egyptian desert on a small-group sunset and stargazing tour. You will take a Jeep across the dunes as the sky shifts through warm sunset colours, and you will ride a camel for part of the experience. Along the way you will taste traditional Bedouin tea and sit down to a candlelit dinner in the desert. After dark, an astronomist guide will lead the stargazing session. Using high-powered telescopes, they will show planets, galaxies and star clusters, and explain both ancient and modern ideas about space. The guide will put what you see into context, helping you learn about celestial objects and the science behind them. The evening will finish with a Jeep ride back to Hurghada, leaving you with a clear memory of the desert sky and the sights you observed through the telescopes.
