On this private guided tour you will travel through the key sites that document ancient Egypt’s architectural development. Beginning at Saqqara you will see the Step Pyramid, the Pyramid of Djoser—regarded as the world’s oldest major stone structure—and explore the Tombs of the Nobles to learn more about the lives of ancient Egyptian noblemen. Along the way you will visit the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and view the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Mummification. You will also have the opportunity to visit both Dahshur pyramids, the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, giving a clear sense of how building techniques evolved.
