Full-Day Luxor from Port Ghalib

Overview

From Port Ghalib, a NASCO Tours representative will accompany you on a private transfer to Luxor. Along the way you will pass barren mountains, flat desert and stretches of fertile land, while your guide shares stories and background about Upper Egypt and the region’s history. On Luxor’s west bank you will visit three royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings and see the colossal seated statues of Amenhotep III, the Colossi of Memnon, which stand by his memorial temple. You’ll stop for lunch at The Steigenberger Nile Palace, where the restaurant offers scenic views of the Nile. After lunch you will cross to the east bank to explore the vast Temple of Karnak and the nearby Luxor Temple. The experience ends with a transfer back to Port Ghalib, leaving you with a fuller sense of Egypt’s ancient sites and landscapes.
