You will travel aboard the Lotus from Luxor on a leisurely cruise along the Nile with a NASCO Tours representative. Along the way you will enjoy river views, spot local wildlife and experience encounters with friendly locals. As you move through the landscape you may see striking sunsets and, occasionally, hot air balloons drifting over the Nile. At Dendera Temple an expert Egyptologist, Marvel, will guide you through the site and explain the temple’s architecture and decorations dedicated to the goddess Hathor. After the guided portion you will have time to explore the complex on your own and take photos. A DVD of highlights will be available to purchase if you want a keepsake, and the experience ends with a transfer back to your hotel.
