You will travel roughly 70 km north of Luxor to visit the Dendera Temple complex. The site contains a large number of structures from different periods of Egyptian history, so you will see architectural layers and remains that reflect those various eras as you move through the complex. The best preserved building on the site is the Greco-Roman temple of Hathor, and the visit will include time spent at this temple. Along the way you will have the chance to observe the contrast between the different structures and appreciate how the complex developed over time. After your visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
