You will be collected from your Cairo or Giza hotel for a private guided tour that visits the Giza Pyramids, downtown Cairo, Islamic medieval Cairo and the Khan El‑Khalili bazaar. At Giza you will tour the pyramid plateau and see the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Queens’ pyramids, the pyramid of Chephren and the smaller Mykarinus pyramid. Your guide will point out key architectural features and the historical context as you move around the ancient site. After the pyramids you will be taken to a restaurant for lunch. Following the meal, you will travel through downtown to view Tahrir Square and its surrounding area, then continue into Islamic medieval Cairo. There you will explore the Khan El‑Khalili tourist bazaar and encounter nearby Islamic ancient complexes, including mosques, madrasas and traditional houses. The day concludes with a transfer back to your hotel.
