Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel for a private visit to the Giza Plateau. You will explore the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus and see the Great Sphinx — a lion‑bodied monument with the head of a pharaoh that dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a stop at the Valley Temple that belongs to the pyramids of Chephren, where you can learn about its role in the funerary complex. As you move on, you will visit Old Cairo to see the Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, each reflecting a different thread of the city’s religious history. You will then head to the Khan El Khaili bazaar to learn about local products and treasures. Finally, the tour will include a visit to the Cave Church of Saint Simon before your guide returns you to your hotel.
