This experience takes you into Egypt’s western desert, beginning with a drive to Bahariya Oasis and then onward into the surrounding region to see both the Black Desert and the White Desert. Along the way you will travel through unspoilt desert landscapes and have opportunities to take in stark rock formations and wide, open vistas as the scenery changes between dark volcanic hills and chalk-white dunes. As you move through the area, you will visit Crystal Mountain and explore the mountains of the Black Desert. You will also spend time in the famous White Desert and the Black Desert, learning about their contrasting geology and seeing the unusual shapes carved by wind and time. The pace is relaxed and focused on the landscape, so you can look, photograph and appreciate these distinctive desert environments.
