This short break in Cairo will take you to Egypt’s most famous sights. In the city you’ll visit the Great Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. You’ll also explore Old Cairo, with its Islamic and Christian monuments, and see the Mohamed Ali citadel as you move through the city’s historic areas. After Cairo, the trip continues to Luxor where you’ll explore the monuments of the East and West Banks. Along the way you’ll learn about the sites’ historical significance and see a range of ancient architecture. The holiday concludes with a visit to the Philae Temple and sightseeing in Aswan, giving you a final chance to take in southern Egypt’s riverside highlights.
