During your layover at Cairo Airport you will enjoy a guided visit that brings together the city’s most recognisable sights. You will see the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx, then move on to the Citadel of Salah El Din where the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque stands. Along the way you will encounter grand examples of ancient and Islamic architecture and have time to view these landmarks up close. You will also explore Old Cairo, visiting the Hanging Church, Abu Sirga Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue to learn about the area’s Coptic and Jewish heritage. The visit will finish at the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, where you can take in the market atmosphere. Throughout the experience you will see a mix of monuments, religious sites and lively streets that reflect Cairo’s long and varied history.
