An evening at the Pyramids of Giza will show you the ancient site in a new, nocturnal light. As darkness falls, the pyramids are illuminated and you’ll get great views of their silhouettes against the night sky. The visit centres on a spectacular sound and light show, during which you’ll learn more about the ancient pharaohs and the history that shaped these monuments. The Great Sphinx also takes centre stage. You’ll marvel as the Sphinx appears to come to life and speaks the words of a long dead Egyptian ruler, adding a dramatic and theatrical element to the evening. Together, the lighting, sound and narration bring the stories of the pyramids and their rulers into focus at night, offering a different perspective on these world-famous landmarks.
