On this private full-day trip to Alexandria, available from Alexandria or from Cairo, you'll explore Egypt’s second city on the Mediterranean with a qualified Egyptologist. As you move through the city, the guide will explain Alexandria’s long history, from its ancient roots through the Classical and Roman periods and beyond. You’ll visit key sites including the Roman auditorium/theatre and the Roman catacombs, and spend time in the National Museum of Alexandria.
