This excursion will take you to Bahariya Oasis in Egypt’s Western Desert and then into the surrounding sands to see the distinctive landscapes known as the Black Desert and the White Desert. Along the way you will explore the oasis environment and the contrasting desert regions, moving between the sheltered greenery of Bahariya and the dramatic rock and sand formations of the Black and White Deserts. Guides from the operator will share their knowledge about the land and its features as you travel, so you’ll learn about the natural and cultural character of these places. The tour is operated by Tamer Safari, a team of professionals who specialise in organising safaris and camping trips across the Western Desert. They typically run visits to many well-known and more remote sites, including Siwa and Fayoum, as well as lesser-known oases such as Bahariya, Dakhla and Kharga, and can provide information about other interesting places in the region. You may also be offered the option to plan a customised itinerary to suit your interests.
