This experience takes you through Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel, bringing together Egypt’s best-known ancient sites. In Cairo you will see the pyramids of Giza and visit the Egyptian Museum, where many ancient artefacts are displayed. As you move on to Luxor, you will explore the city’s major landmarks, including the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the temple of Karnak. In Aswan you will encounter the city’s monuments and travel on to the Two Temples of Abu Simbel. Along the way you will have opportunities to admire monumental tombs, grand temples and archaeological treasures, and to gain a continuous view of Egypt’s pharaonic past from the Giza plateau to Abu Simbel.
