This experience takes you through some of Egypt’s most important archaeological sites and cultural stops. In Memphis and Saqqara you will see the Step Pyramid and explore the surrounding ancient necropolis. Along the way you’ll visit the pyramids at Dahshur and then move on to the world‑famous Giza Plateau, where the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure stand as the monumental tombs of the pharaohs. You can take photographs and soak up the history and scale of these structures as you move through each site. To deepen your view of ancient Egyptian civilisation, you will visit the Egyptian Museum and examine its wide collection of artefacts, including the iconic golden death mask of Tutankhamun. The tour concludes at a lively bazaar where you will experience local culture, sample traditional food and have the chance to shop for unique souvenirs.
