You will begin the day in the ancient city of Baghouat after a hearty breakfast. As you move through the site, you will visit the Temple of Hebes and see objects displayed in the New Valley Archaeology Museum. Along the way, you will observe traditional craftsmanship at local carpet and porcelain factories and spend time in the Nasser Wells and Ain Manawer areas. The morning concludes with a relaxed meal and a chance to rest. An early departure to Dakhla follows, where you will try dune skating and view the striking rock formation known as the Crouching Camel. You will also explore the village of Al-Bashandi to see kilims, carpets and antiquities. After a leisurely lunch and some downtime, you will enjoy a free tour of Dakhla that leaves room for spontaneous personal discovery.
