Events at El Rihany Theater

One of the surviving theatres of Emad El Din Street, the strip that was Cairo's West End in the 1920s. It still runs commercial plays and comedy in Arabic, and it is walkable from Tahrir, which almost nothing else on this list is. The building shows its age and the seats are close together; the draw is the programming and the fact that you can get there on the metro.
