Warm but not yet punishing, and the month Cairo empties into its parks for Sham El-Nessim — the Monday after Coptic Easter, and the single biggest outdoor day in the Egyptian year. Everything is booked and the Nile-side gardens are full from dawn. Daylight saving begins on the last Friday of the month, so evening programming shifts later.
