This is a great day out, full of history and unbelievable sights. The driver Ahmed was phenomenal, his bus was kitted out with a TV (watched Luxor history on the way there and beauty and the beast on the way back), snacks drinks, ice cream is available and cushions it is extremely clean and tidy and comfortable. We had this to ourselves for the whole day which was great. Said the tour guide was informative and helpful. Practical bits, there are plenty of toilet stops however you have to pay 20 Egyptians pounds each time (take some Egyptian money with you or ask your guide to take you to a bank
We were taken care of by Ahmed and Said. It's an ambitious tour and the whole day so make sure you are well rested and be prepared to do lots of walking. So many impressive sights! A few observations however: - boat ride should be included in the tour price rather than marketed as optional, you will need to pay this and you don't have much choice - driving style is far too aggressive and fast, need to tone it down. Genuinely felt unsafe at certain points - Alabaster factory is just an opportunity to hard sell you their products - too much pressure to leave a positive review, including leaving
This was a brilliant trip, with an excellent guide and great things to visit. We travelled from Hurghada and that takes 3.5 - 4 hours, each way. There is so much too see once you get to Luxor but the tour covers it all very well. This is well worth going on
We had a great day trip seeing the sights around Luxor. Ahmed, our driver, got us to Luxor before the tourist crowds and pointed out the sights on the way, and always had snacks and drinks at the ready. Said, our guide, was so knowledgeable about Egyptian history and really brought it to life. The transport was also lovely, very comfortable with A/C, wifi, charging ports, and a tv. 5/5!
Wonderful day with Ahmed and Said, got there early to beat the crowd and saw everything we wanted to.
We had a great experience with Ramashka Tours! Easy and fast communication via WhatsApp before the trip, then on the day of Ahmed picked us up at the hotel on time, and - as described in all other reviews - got us to the Karnak Temple complex before the crowds. The van was comfortable, with WiFi, charging ports, reading lights, and even pillows, drinks and snacks for our convenience. Ahmed was very friendly and kept us occupied the whole trip, chatting and playing several videos and movies on a huge and very bright screen. The sound system in the van was so good we had to request to turn the v
