Very long day of history but 100% worth it. We were picked up by taxi at 4.45am and were driven to Karnak Temple where we met our guide Sala. We had food at a restaurant at the other side which wasn't too our liking but the staff were lovely. We then travelled to the colossis of memnon and then Valley of the kings which was just incredible, again Sala was amazing with all the information and history. We did pay for the extra 2 tickets
This tour was the absolute highlight of our trip, and that’s entirely thanks to our phenomenal guide, Salah. From the moment we arrived, Salah was one step ahead, navigating us through each site with such skill that we never had to queue. Just as the crowds were beginning to arrive, we were already moving on, leaving us with peaceful, uninterrupted moments to soak in the breathtaking history. Salah didn’t just show us around, he told the story of ancient Egypt with such passion and depth that it felt like we were l
