Learn to kitesurf on El Gouna's flat, shallow lagoons — some of the best beginner conditions anywhere — on this six-hour basic course. El Gouna's protected, waist-deep water and steady Red Sea wind take much of the fear out of learning, letting you focus on the skills rather than fighting waves or current. Under the eye of a qualified instructor, you'll start on the beach learning to set up and control the kite, then move into the water to practise body-dragging, water restarts and board handling. The course is designed as your first step toward becoming an independent, certified kitesurfer, at a pace that suits your progress. Full equipment — kite, board, harness and safety gear — is provided, along with rental insurance and full-day use of the centre's facilities.
