Perhaps no city is as closely interwoven with the history of Egypt as Luxor. The great past of the “City of Palaces” lives on to this day. Next to the famous Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut is the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Karnak Temple in Luxor. Sightseeing/Itinerary in Luxor You will be picked up from your hotel by air-conditioned bus and will reach the city of Luxor in approximately 4.5 - 5 hours. With our Egyptologist tour guide, you will explore the Karnak Temple and be transported back in time. Your path then takes you to the west bank of the Nile, to the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, also known as the Colossi of Memnon. In the Valley of the Kings you will visit magnificent tombs and then the impressive temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Finally, you will have some free time in Luxor before traveling back to your hotel in Hurghada. The tour guide determines the order of the sights

Must do sightseeing experience when in Egypt. The day starts early in the morning with the Van coming to pick you up from the hotel. We were told picked up from 4.30,but there was a slight delay. Road to Luxor is about 4 and a half hours,mostly trough desert. Our guide,Monty joined us from Luxor,where we started the experience with Karnak Temple. You spend about 1 hour there, although the itinerary says more. Then you are taken to a cruise Nile( extra pay) or you may choose to stay in the Van. After you get taken to a local restaurant, this one was called Crocodile 🐊 restauran(2.4 if you searc

Very well organized tour. The Nile boat crossing is recommendable. In the hot season, the trip is tiring though. The guide, Leila was great. A comprehensive day about Luxor
Great experience. It was really hot day (36C), so make sure you pack a hat! AC in a car worked, so no worry. Our group was just 6 people, which was great. Ride to Luxor was one of best parts: seeing the villagers and life on the farm. Great tour guide: knowledgeable and fast. Chop Chop next point, but it worked for our group: no too elaborate history clarifications. 1 stop in the alabaster store: but it was all right and kind of standard for trips like this.
It was an eventful day in Luxor, with a very well informed guide (Ali). The tour was well organized, the bus to Luxor should have been even more comfortable (seat spacing and filling level). Somewhat disturbing are the additional costs, which were not transparently stated before booking. All in all but a wonderful day, recommendation!
