A converted warehouse down an alley off Marouf Street, and for two decades the home room of Cairo's independent theatre and dance. The programme runs to experimental work, children's theatre and things with no other stage in the city. It is genuinely easy to walk past — look for the alley, not a frontage — and the space is small enough that turning up late means standing.
